Finally….
Friday!
Woohoo!
Thank goodness it’s….oh my goodness it’s only Thursday! Has this week just dragged or is it just me? Here’s some pictures from our last night of summer a week and a half ago….
Love these peeps.
Come on Friday!!
I’m just gonna leave these here…
No words needed. Goodness gracious, I love her.
Robert and Maxwell spent the weekend at the Father Son event at Falling Creek camp in North Carolina. Considering Maxwell came home saying he wants to go for 2 weeks next summer, I’d say it was a great weekend!! Ready to head out Friday afternoon…
and getting all settled in their cabin.
Throughout the weekend they learned all kinds of valuable life skills like how to throw a hatchet…
how to throw a spear…
how to shoot a rifle…
and how to shoot a bow and arrow!
I’m sure all of those skills will come in handy soon! 😉 They also played warrior ball where apparently Maxwell was the champion of more than one game!
And they swam in the lake and went on the zipline…
These two had the best adventure and I’m so glad they got to go!
Can’t wait for next summer! (actually I can wait because the thought of Maxwell being gone for 2 weeks – or even 1 week – makes me want to cry but I know he’ll love it!!)
This weekend Robert and Maxwell had a big adventure at the Father Son Weekend at Falling Creek camp. Maxwell loved it – and I think Robert loved it even more! The littles and I kept busy at home and even made it to the park on Saturday for a while. Unfortunately, Samantha had a scooter injury before we even made it out of the driveway. She wasn’t sure she was even going to make it down to the park…

After much hobbling and whining and crying, she finally made it to the playground. She didn’t think she could do anything but decided to try and within minutes she was miraculously better. Phew.
Spencer was loving showing me all of his new tricks that he’s learned on the playground in the first week of kindergarten.
After a good afternoon I thought we all deserved a little treat…
Can’t beat that! You also can’t beat a Spencer selfie…
Ha!! Here’s to a great week ahead!
