Happy New Year’s Eve!
Well, Christmas has come and gone…let the fun of recapping it all begin! ha!
On Christmas Eve, we went to the family service at noon up at church and bravely decided to keep Spencer in the sanctuary with us. He actually did great, all things considered. We did have to take him out 2 times…not because he was screaming but just because he was so wiggly. Maxwell did great too and even went up to the front for the children’s sermon which surprised me a bit. I’m really glad we went. I did snap Maxwell’s picture before we left and let’s just say I am NOT ok with how old he looks here…
What?! He looks like he’s 8, not 3?! Slow down, time.
On Christmas Eve night, we got to go over to Jessica and Watson’s for tamales! fun! Maxwell obviously had a GREAT time getting to hang out with Jack…
and then they even ate decorated cookies for Santa!
When we got home, the boys got into their Christmas pi’s because we had to get ready for Santa to come! Spencer was clearly thrilled…
but it didn’t matter because Maxwell was excited enough for both of them!!
Oh what fun!! We left out some good lookin’ cookies for Santa and got the boys tucked in bed!
The next morning, we were all excited to see that Santa had come!!
Spencer’s haul…
and Maxwell’s haul…
The boys were pretty excited on Christmas morning! I took a bunch of pictures with my big camera that I’ll share tomorrow but here’s a few from my phone…
Maxwell’s favorite presents…
and Spencer’s favorite part of Christmas morning – eating Santa’s leftover cookies! ha!
It was a morning full of fun and toys!!
Lots more tomorrow! see you then!
Some more family pics from Peppermint Photography…
When we were finished and walking back to the car, Maxwell fell and I scooped him up and Lauren snapped this…
Sweet boy but he is giving her a death stare! ha!
If you’re in Birmingham and want some great pictures, definitely check out Lauren at Peppermint Photography! Have a good weekend!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I thought I’d share some of the photos from our Christmas card session with Peppermint Photography. If you’re back at work today (like me) then hopefully this will provide a little distraction from work and thinking about how not-fun a Wednesday holiday is!
We used Lauren, just like we did the past few years, and she was great as always! We took these pics on November 2 so Maxwell was still in Halloween mode just a bit…
Aaarrrgh! ha!
It was a beautiful – and chilly – fall day and I love all the colors of the leaves and how they all turned out!
More tomorrow!
Wishing you and yours the merriest Christmas of all!
