Today’s Friday Favorite are Maxwell’s new Native shoes. Kind of like Crocs but way cooler. I think they’re precious and Maxwell seems to be a fan!

Happy Friday everyone!

Happy Friday everyone!
Just because I think this is really cute, here you go…
He’s my elephant superhero. Every night when I wrap Maxwell up in this towel after the bath, he sees the elephant trunk and says “na na!” for banana. Smart boy, it does look like a banana. And, now that I think about it, it actually looks more like a rhino than an elephant. Who knows? I do know that this towel used to be a lot bigger on him. Remember this? Sweet baby boy.
Just like last summer…
a hot day means popsicles!
Testing out the lime green…
and ultimately deciding it’s pretty good!
It was a nice afternoon to just chill on the steps…
and make some funny faces!
Bye!
While we officially celebrated Father’s Day on Sunday, I feel like we unofficially celebrated it on Saturday with lots of quality time with Dad. After our usual morning Starbucks run and neighborhood drive (which might be my favorite part of the week) we ate some breakfast and then Maxwell and Robert went to his swim lesson. Robert said Maxwell did great and continues to be an expert kicker…and not so great at the bubble blowing! That’s ok, we’ll work on it!
That afternoon, the fun with Dad continued…
Maxwell used Dad as a jungle gym…
Got chased by Dad…
So, I need to explain that picture. Robert always acts like he’s going to chase Maxwell and come get him by going “ooooohhhh” as in, “oh watch out, I’m coming to get you!” and Maxwell has started to imitate him and make his own little “oooooohhh” face. So cute.
As always, the chase ended with Maxwell getting captured and scooped up in a big bear hug…
There were also plenty of high-fives given…
and some major tickling!
Somebody definitely got trapped by the tickle monster!
What a great way to unofficially celebrate Dad, huh? He’s the best and we’re so lucky!!
Greetings! We had a great weekend and a fantastic Father’s Day. All of Robert’s immediate family came over to our house for lunch and we ate some good bbq and played with the cousins. We had so much fun that I’m too tired to go through all of the pictures I took this weekend. But, I promise I’ve got some good ones sitting on my camera just waiting to be posted this week so, stay tuned!
Until then, here’s Mr. Maxwell last week…
See you tomorrow!
