We made it to the last day of summer…and I hate to see it go! I love these kids, I love these ages, I love these lazy summer days.
But, on to new adventures! Thanks summer…you were awesome.

Enjoying the last of summer up at the club! Maxwell played in the Junior Club Championship…
Spencer played golf with Robert after he got home from camp…
and Samantha spent time on the tennis courts just like her momma!
Club life is the life!
When Maxwell got home from camp, we got him a phone. He was pretty excited to say the least. As much as I don’t like him having that much access at his fingertips, it has been really really nice to be able to communicate with him so easily. Pick up from golf? Stay late at tennis? Meet friends at the pool? No problem with a quick phone call!
He’s a responsible kid who takes good care of his stuff and I know this will be no exception! On to 6th grade!
It’s the last full week of summer. Say it ain’t so!! We’ve had the very best summer with lots of time with friends and we’re so sad to see it end.
Sweet, sweet summertime!
We had the very best GJ in the world in Birmingham for the past two weeks. We loved every second of having her here! She kept the kids while Robert and I went on a fun trip and they didn’t miss us one bit. Well, Samantha might have missed me a little bit but GJ handled my little drama queen with no issues! The kids spent every night at her house even after we got back. They obviously love having her around as much as I do! She might have even earned herself a new title while in town, Assistant to the President of the PTO! A very prestigious title indeed!!
She headed back to Florida yesterday and we’re already ready for her to come back! The President needs her right hand lady!
Thanks for everything GJ. What would we do without you?!
