After she got home from camp, Samantha finally got her chance to meet her new baby cousin!
Cute cute cute!
I’ve been a busy Troop Committee Chair up at Troop 63 these past few months…but it’s all paying off! I worked really hard to recruit some great new scouts into the Troop for Spencer’s grade. I hosted a “mom’s night” at the house back in the fall…
and then we had a “Fire, Fun and Football” event at the scout hut in January…
and it was all worth it when we had 18 new scouts for the meeting in March! WOW!
Proud of these boys and excited to see them be Scouts together!
Be prepared!
Well, no visit to the tree lot for us this year. We’re traveling over the holiday and couldn’t leave a real tree in the house so I did something I swore I’d never do…and I’m not mad about it. Yes, we got a fake tree! Maxwell and I put it up ourselves, I didn’t have to string any lights, and it’s perfectly un-crooked! ha!
It’s a beaut, Clark, it’s a beaut!
I did miss picking out our tree like previous years, but, the lack of hassle involved with this one sure was nice. It even kept me distracted during the Iron Bowl – I was hanging ornaments and standing on the ladder when they went for it on 4th and 31! Roll Tide!
The rest of our house is looking very merry too!
We’re ready for the big day!
Samantha had her first bunkin’ party…excuse me, sleepover! We had originally said no sleepovers until age 10 but, sometimes you gotta give. She had two of her besties over last Friday night and they had the most fun!
Samantha requested dinner at the club.
Robert took the boys to the MBHS football game so it was just us girls. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner dates…
ha! They love to get up and run around but did come back when the food arrived! Β π
After dinner they did face masks, nails and all things girly. They attempted to watch the Barbie movie but I think they ended up just playing T Swift and dancing in her room!
Lights out was 10:00…at 10:05 they needed a snack…at 10:30 two of them were in tears…and I think at 11:00 they finally fell asleep. They were back up by 6am and happy as could be!
Love these sweet girls and glad Samantha had fun!
Before…
and after!
She’s well on her way to straight teeth! She was pretty excited to get them but the excitement wore off pretty quickly…
It’ll all be worth it though!
