The Easter Bunny brought a slime kit…
Ooey, gooey, slimy fun!
We headed up to the club for lunch and…more pictures! I couldn’t help it, everyone just looked so nice!
We also loved seeing friends of course!
The weather could not have been more perfect!
That night we had one more egg hunt! The neighborhood got together for a glow in the dark hunt. The eggs didn’t really glow but the kids had no trouble finding them all. Look how big the hood has gotten!
Just about the perfect weekend all around!
What a wonderful Easter day! 73 and sunny and a day spent with my favorite little bunnies! The Easter bunny brought all kinds of goodies and lots and lots of candy filled eggs were hidden in the yard thanks to the help of some enterprising high school boys…I mean the Easter Bunny. π We got all dressed up and went to the club for lunch. It’s been so long since we got dressed up and it sure was nice to see my crew looking so sharp! Spencer looked extra springy and Maxwell looked very handsome in his pink shorts and sportcoat! Sharp indeed! Samantha won the day though – she wore an old dress of mine that GJ had made and the yellow on her was perfection! We curled her hair and I don’t think she’s ever looked prettier!
My pretty, pretty girl!
Cute then and cute now!
We even got a self-timer family photo! Attempt 1…
and attempt 2…
A little fuzzy but not bad!
Happy Easter!
We had lots of fun opportunities to hunt Easter eggs on Saturday. We started the day at simultaneous soccer and baseball games but made a quick change into some of our Easter finest to hop over to the club and hunt some eggs!
Robert actually ditched us to go to a golf lesson but that was ok. We were glad he got to play golf and we had plenty of friends to hang with!
It was a beautiful sunny day and we had so much fun just hanging out and playing on the front lawn of the club!
We even got some pics with the bunny!
That afternoon we went over to our friend’s house for some more egg hunting and fun time with friends! There were plenty of golden eggs with surprises for all!
Just a great spring day all around with lots of happy egg hunting!
Happy Easter!
While down in Naples we tried a cool new way to color eggs and it turned out so cool!!
We wrapped the eggs in special “bleeding” tissue paper, covered them in a coffee filter, dipped them in vinegar, and let them dry overnight. Tutorial here.
The next morning they looked marbled and tie-dyed!
We’re ready for Easter!!
